Authorize.Net Partner Programs - An Overview

Authorize.Net continues to expand our reseller partner programs to cater to all types of merchant service providers who can benefit from combining the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway services with their product offerings. The following descriptions of our current partner programs are to help you learn how you can get the greatest benefit from your partnership with us.

  • Associate Reseller Program
    The Authorize.Net Associate Reseller Program provides you with the opportunity to offer a premier payment gateway solution bundled with the services you provide, as well as benefit from shared revenue from your merchants' payments processing. We are committed to meeting you and your merchants' needs in as simple a way as possible so you are able to focus on your core business. In fact, we'll handle everything—including account setup, billing, free customer support, and even an Internet merchant bank account.   • New Certified Partner Programs
    In April, we announced the creation of three new Certified Partner Programs. These programs, Certified Solutions, Certified Developers and Certified Hosting Solutions, are designed to assure that the third party products and services offered to our merchants meet and maintain the highest standards for quality and security. Partners who qualify for any of Authorize.Net's Certified Partner Programs benefit in a number of tangible ways, including being listed in certified partner directories on the Authorize.Net corporate Web site, displaying one of Authorize.Net's Certified Partner logos on their Web site to promote customer confidence, and being eligible for Authorize.Net's Associate Reseller referral program.

    Certified Solutions
    The Authorize.Net Certified Solutions program allows you to certify your product against the highest standards of integration to the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway. If you are a provider of point-of-sale terminals, kiosks, enterprise software packages or e-commerce shopping carts, the Certified Solutions program was designed for you!

    Certified Developers
    The Authorize.Net Certified Developers program is specifically designed for partners who develop custom Web site or other applications integrations for client Web sites or products. As a Certified Developer, you can earn instant credibility and grow your business by marketing your expertise to thousands of prospective customers.

    Certified Hosting Solutions
    The Authorize.Net Certified Hosting Program is designed to assure that companies providing hosting services to Authorize.Net merchants are maintaining proven and reliable hosting environments. As a Certified Hosting Solution, you can add value to your Web hosting services by offering your e-commerce merchant customers simple and secure payment processing.

Availability of the Reseller Interface

Authorize.Net is pleased to provide Associate Resellers with access to our Reseller Interface beginning June 5, 2006. The Reseller Interface provides valuable tools that allow Associate Resellers to track and update their referred merchants and manage their Authorize.Net Associate Reseller accounts. Located at https://secure.authorize.net/ResellerInterface, Associate Resellers can update merchant data, view and download merchant reports and residual statements, edit account information, and contact Reseller Support via e-mail or live chat.

There are a number of resources available to help Associate Resellers become familiar with the products and features Reseller Interface.

  • Help Files – The help files available in the Reseller Interface provide details on how to use each function in the interface. Please take the time to read and review these help files.
  • Reseller Interface Reference Guide – Associate Resellers – This guide explores in detail the many features of the Reseller Interface and serves as an excellent guide for first-time users. The guide can be found at http://www.authorize.net/files/ARreferenceguide.pdf.
  • Resource Center – The Resource Center in the Reseller Interface provides additional information and tools such as announcements, important notices, account management forms, user guides, and other valuable information regarding Authorize.Net services.

Developer Tips and Tricks

Did you know that Authorize.Net provides a range of integration information and support on our Integration Center Web site at http://developer.authorize.net? Providers of Web development or hosting services for merchants will benefit greatly from the following resources available in the Integration Center:

  • Documentation for the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway application programming interface (API)
  • Sample code for programming against the Authorize.Net API
  • Test accounts for testing integration solutions
  • Authorize.Net transaction response code lookup and troubleshooting tools

Conversion Programs

If you're feeling the effects of recent industry consolidation (e.g., VeriSign, Paradata), we urge you to take advantage of our compelling merchant conversion program. Multiple User Accounts

Authorize.Net is continually improving our payment gateway services to meet the evolving needs of your merchants. We recently announced the release of Multiple User Accounts for the Merchant Interface. This new standard feature benefits merchants by enabling them to create a unique and customizable user account for each of their employees who access the Merchant Interface—increasing account security and streamlining transaction management.

As a standard payment gateway account feature, there is no additional cost associated with Multiple User Accounts.

Value-Adding Products and Solutions

Authorize.Net offers a wide array of value-adding products and solutions that can enhance your referred merchants' experience with the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway and Merchant Interface. These products and solutions are made available to merchants either from Authorize.Net or from one of our third-party partnerships.
